It spins the three included ornaments so that you can hold the eight colorful markers to them and create fun designs. It does require three AA batteries, which are not included. But once your ornaments are decorated, you can take them to the next level with the pieces inside the Treemendous Accessory Pack. You get three non-toxic markers, a sheet of jewels, two sheets of foam shapes, 32 foam snowflakes, and three sheets of foam letters and numbers. Additional ornaments are sold separately.
